The Romantic Way

I've finally figured out where to find really good romantic ideas. It's taken me a couple of decades. Because of the generous romantic couple we are, we want to reveal the secret here. Ready? Here goes.

Anywhere.

That's right. The challenge is not where to find those things that enrich your life and relationship. The inspiration is in you and around you. The real challenge is space. Call it margin, white space, or an uncluttered life. You need capacity for romance. You need room in your life to dance around, swing your arms and kick a little so you can give attention and passion to those things which give your life and love fullness.

When life is encumbered by to-dos and stray obligations, romance becomes no more than another burden. You need to remember to buy flowers, schedule a dinner out or pick up a card. It's another task in your day. Yet, when your heart catches the wind of romance, the windows of your life are thrown open wide. Life is rich. Romance reigns.

The second challenge is easy when your heart is your guide and leads you to those wide open spaces in life where romance can move around. Romantic ideas flow freely when you feed the romantic muse. You've got to be kind and generous to him.

How? Fill your life with things which appeal to the soul such as music, art and beauty. You know what they are because usually they take a little time. You have time because you've already uncluttered your life and your muse is happy. Romance is already beginning to flow.
