Pay your local library a visit, and ask the librarian where you can read aloud. Choose an engaging mystery or steamy romance and spend the afternoon reading aloud to one-another.

Take two pads of lined paper, some nice pens and visit a quiet coffee shop. Order two cappuccinos, and write the stories of your lives. After one hour, read them aloud to one-another. Then ask lots of questions.

    Get some blankets and pillows and go to a clear area to view the night sky. Don’t know the stars names and constellations? That’s okay: make up your own constellations and stories behind them! Also there are about a dozen amazing meteor showers a year!

    Have a picnic!

    Just a nice breaking the ice idea at a coffee shop…Draw separate sketches sharing your life or take turns elaborating on the same sketch, pass it back and forth after drawing three lines. It’s also a fun way to fill time on car rides or waiting at a restaurant.
