Not accustomed to sending romantic ecards? No problem! Here are five tips and tricks to make preparing your free romantic ecard a snap! Ecards are easy, fun and free!

Choose a photo from the web or upload your own

Choose a photo from TheRomanticWay selections that you like. By clicking in the circle next to the photo title.

Prefer to send your own digital photo or graphic? Not a problem! If the photo or graphic is already on the web, simply open a new browser window and navigate to the photo. If it's a thumbnail image, double-click on it to enlarge it. Then right-click on the image and click "copy image location". Then return to TheRomanticWay Ecard page, scroll down to the "enter a URL of a web image" box, place your cursor in the box, right-click again and click "paste". You've put the location of your photo in TheRomanticWay Ecards. Now, you can continue to write your message and enter your email addresses.

If your photo is not already on the web, you can sign up with PhotoBucket, a free image hosting and photo album service. It's very easy to sign up and upload your images. Copy the link from PhotoBucket and enter it in the "URL of a web image" box on TheRomanticWay Ecard page in the same way described above.

Make your romantic ecard message touching

Make your romantic ecard messages creative, heartfelt and personal. Use your friend's or lover's name. People like to read their names. Express your affection. Express your appreciation. Say, Thanks for your friendship! Include a short poem or even a line from a poem. You'll brighten their day.

Formatting your text for romantic ecards is easy

Not sure how to use the HTML tags to add formatting to your message? It's not the most important thing, and you can send your message without formatting, but centering a heading or making a few words bold or even adding a horizontal rule makes your love ecard a bit more interesting. Click either the "Sample" or "Prompt" buttons and TheRomanticWay Ecard page will give you a little extra help to get it just the way you want it. Play around. You can't hurt anything.

Have more than one friend? Send to many!

Double check email addresses to be sure they're correct. A lot of friendship ecards get sent with errors in the address and they never arrive. You may send your card to many recipients! Simply separate your addresses with commas. They'll scroll out of the window, but they're still there! Send away! Be sure to click the preview button to have a peak at your card before sending it. You can then still make changes if you like.
